Agreement
By downloading, installing or using QuickPaste ("the App") or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. In these terms, "we" and "us" means the independent developer and publisher using the public name MarzDev.

The app and your license
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on your own devices, under the Free plan or, if you have bought it, the Pro plan. The App is licensed to you, not sold. We keep all rights that are not expressly granted here.
Free and Pro
The Free plan is permanent, with no trial and no account. It includes every section of the App with limits on how much you can store. Nothing you have saved is deleted when you reach a limit; items over the limit are tucked out of view until you free up space or upgrade.
Pro is a one-time payment with no subscription. It removes the Free plan limits and unlocks the Pro features described on our pricing section and in the user guide. Pro license keys are issued through Gumroad. A Pro key is currently limited to 3 device activations; the app contacts Gumroad when a key is activated so that the activation count can be enforced. The terms shown at purchase apply to your Pro license.
What you can't do
You agree not to:
- copy, redistribute, rent, sell or sublicense the App
- share, resell or publish Pro license keys
- bypass or interfere with the license check or the Free plan limits
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the App, except where the law allows this despite this restriction
- use the App to break the law or to infringe other people's rights
Your data and your responsibilities
You own the content you copy and save. QuickPaste stores it on your PC and we do not receive it (see our Privacy Policy). That means you are responsible for what you copy and store, for keeping your PC secure, and for making backups.
Because your data stays on your PC and exported backups are protected by a separate backup password, we may not be able to recover lost data, a forgotten PIN, or a forgotten backup password. Please keep your credentials safe and back up regularly.
Payments and refunds
Purchases are handled by the store you buy from, such as Gumroad or the Microsoft Store, under that store's terms. Requests for refunds are handled under that store's policy.
Updates and changes to the app
We may update the App, add, change or remove features, or stop offering it. We will try to avoid changes that unreasonably affect what you have already paid for.
Third-party software and links
The App is built with third-party open-source components, which are licensed under their own terms. This website links to other sites and services, such as Gumroad and the Microsoft Store, that we do not control and are not responsible for.
Ownership
We own the App, the QuickPaste name and logo, and the content of this website. You keep ownership of your own content.
No warranty
The App and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted or free of data loss. Please back up anything important.
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to digital content that is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the App or website. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the App, if anything. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Ending your license
You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your license if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by sharing license keys.
Using this website
The information on this website, including our articles and comparisons, is general information and reflects what we knew at the time of writing. It is not professional, legal or financial advice. Features, prices and policies of other products may change, so please check the vendor's own site.
The website uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity for website statistics and interaction insights when you accept analytics in the consent banner. You can change your choice on the Privacy Policy page. See that policy for details.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed, and continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
